Students after finishing GCE AL - Can be finished within a Year if the student has completed GCE AL in English medium and expecting above B results.
Others can do it in 2 Years
EXAM
Both Cambridge and Edexcel has AS (one year) and A2 or IAL (one year)
Student can split as AS and A2/IAL and do the exams in two sessions
If student is committed exam can be done at once sitting for both AS and A2./IAL
CAMBRIDGE (CIE) OR EDEXCEL?
Both CIE and EDEXCEL are highly regarded international academic qualifications that open doors to both admissions to institutions of higher learning around the world as well as provide employment opportunities.
While they are similar in many respects, it is important that you know and understand the subtle difference.
You should take the examination that suits your individual aptitude best so that you are able to do well.
